Despite being entirely manipulated, these photographs, since they are constructed from real registrations, can reflect one of the possible versions of reality. They are, in a sense, suspended in the space of potentiality and combinatorics.
These constructed images are an exploration of the boundaries of photography, both in terms of the medium’s meaning and formal construction. They question to what extent a photograph constructed according to certain rules, in a sense, laboratory-produced, is capable of reflecting reality.
